Transparent Pricing & Service Overview
Every repair or improvement project is unique. Hidden conditions, prior workmanship, access limitations, or specialty materials can all affect how a job is done. Because no two projects are identical, we provide accurate quotes only after inspecting your project.

Service Call Fee – $99

This fee includes:
-
Travel to your property
-
Hands-on inspection of the issue
-
Professional assessment of what needs to be done
-
Clear explanation of options, scope, and estimated labor time
-
This fee is applied toward approved work.
-
Minor quick repair*

*Covers a small repair completed during the visit using parts already on hand, such as tightening loose hardware or adjusting a sticking door.
Not included: Additional issues, separate projects, multiple minor repairs, special parts, hardware store trips, or hidden damage. Extra work is reviewed and quoted before proceeding.

Please note: The Service Visit Fee applies even if you decide not to use our services for additional tasks, or you decline our proposal for a larger project. This ensures we can dedicate time, expertise, and travel to provide a full, professional assessment.
Photos, videos, or live video calls may help determine if a project can be assessed remotely before scheduling a visit.

Urgent Service Call Fee – $149
Applies to requests requiring an on-site visit within 48 hours or outside regular business hours. This fee covers expedited scheduling and priority service and is applied toward approved work.

Emergency Service Call Fee – $249
Applies to situations requiring immediate response to prevent damage or restore essential functionality. This service is available 24/7 and includes urgent dispatch, on-site assessment, and stabilization of the issue.
Examples include burst water lines, sprinkler mainline failures, active leaks, water extraction, or time-sensitive repairs prior to an event.
In cases involving active flooding or water extraction, the emergency service call fee includes initial mitigation. If the volume of water is excessive or requires extended pumping time, additional water extraction charges may apply. Any additional fees will be discussed and approved on site before work continues.. Emergency service fees cover immediate response and are not applied toward repair costs.

Why This Fee Exists
Even simple tasks, like replacing a lightbulb or adjusting a hinge, can reveal hidden issues or specialty components that cannot be fully assessed without a hands-on inspection.

Why We Don’t Offer Free Estimates
Free estimates often come with a hidden cost: many companies offering “free consultations” aim to sell more work than you actually need. Charging a service fee ensures we provide an honest, professional assessment focused on what’s truly necessary for your home.

Why We Don’t Offer Hourly Pricing
Handyman work varies greatly, making hourly rates unreliable. Small repairs, large projects, or unexpected issues, can take very different amounts of time.
Unlike electricians or plumbers, who consistently use the same tools and materials, handymen work with a wide variety of tasks, materials, and tools. One day we may install shelves, the next repair a door, or fix a leaking faucet.
Hourly rates can also create risks for both parties: some companies may unintentionally or intentionally, take longer on tasks, leaving you paying more than necessary. Quoting by the project ensures fair, upfront pricing and avoids these pitfalls.
Employee experience and wages also vary, so project-based pricing is the fairest way to ensure consistent quality for all clients.

Flexible Estimate Options
After inspection, you may choose:
-
Labor-only quote: You supply materials; labor price is fixed.
-
Labor + materials quote: We handle sourcing, pickup, and installation.

Parts & Materials
Not all parts are easily available locally. Depending on your home or fixture manufacturer, sourcing may take time. Quotes for labor and parts include sourcing, taxes, and a convenience markup for handling the process efficiently, reducing delays and providing a complete, professional solution. This is about value and peace of mind, not overcharging.
